Vifor is considered as the global market leader in the production of iron replacement products. Until 2015, a new plant for approx. 100 employees will be built and thus the business location St.Gallen will be extended to more than 300 employees altogether.

The Vifor-business runs: Just two years ago a 50-Million-Swiss-Francs-extention has been finalised. On the world market Vifor is considered as a leader in iron replacement products. And there a new plans already. For the large scale production of a new drug which goes on testing-line in 2009, a new factory is built. Vifor, member of the Galinica-group, will invest in a grand scale: For the development of drugs as well as for the infrastructure of the production unit an investment of 100 Million Swiss Francs was concluded.
